Baby Face

Terry's taking some time off to recover from a busy weekend, so I figured that I'd give this blog thing a shot for a change.  We finally received some good news on Friday on our crib parts.  Looks like they should be arriving later this week which means Daddy will be building a crib next weekend.  We also went and picked out some paint for the nursery.  Hopefully, we'll be able to start painting soon before it gets too cold to open windows and let the paint smell air out.

The highlight of the weekend was the 3D ultrasound.  I honestly wasn't too excited about the whole thing, but I knew an extra ultrasound would make Terry feel a lot better so I tried to go into it with an open mind.  It ended up being really cool.  Not only did we get a second confirmation that we're having a boy - one who is not very shy about strutting his stuff - but, we also got to see the Little Man's face.  Being able to see his facial features in detail made the whole "We're having a baby" thing even more of a reality for both of us.
Probably the only picture we got of his whole face.  His hands were busy almost the entire time.  He was either covering his face or playing with the cord.

Playing with his hands.
All scrunched up.  Apparently, he was deep in thought because you can sort of see his furrowed eyebrows on his forehead.  Probably thinking, "Where am I going to kick Mommy next?"
