Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog. It's crazy to think how far along I am in this pregnancy!!! I am just about 35 and a half weeks pregnant and still feeling pretty good. This baby likes to scare his mama because he won't move for long periods of time, I think he is stubborn like his daddy!! I guess he is just preparing me for the next 18....20......30 years of my life!!! We had a wonderful Christmas. I got a new desktop computer that I really wanted and it makes it much easier to update the blog! Tommy and I got an IPAD which is really cool and I also got an E-Reader and Tommy got a gym membership. It was a wonderful Christmas and everyone was too good to us! We just celebrated New Years and it was nice. I had a hard time staying up til Midnight but I made it! We toasted with sparkling Cranberry juice in our wedding champagane flutes.
As far as baby goes. He is doing great! We had an ultrasound a few weeks ago to check on his kidneys and they are both still slightly dialated but there didn't seem to be any concern about it. He will be checked again when he is born. He was measuring a week and 2 days ahead and already weighing an estimated 5.2 pounds (at 33 weeks)!!!! I swear I'm not that big, it must be all baby. I am feeling pretty good still. Starting to get achy at night and I have been having some braxton hicks contractions (I think) but still on the ice teaching though I don't move around very much. I am starting to swell some too, but hanging in there. I am hoping for a mid to late January baby but he still feels high so I am guessing I am going to go late. Any predictions?
We are continuing work on the baby's nursery. We need to hang things up and get it organized and we just finished ordering the crib mattress and bedding. Once it's finished we will give you some pictures. Also, Little Man has a name!! We aren't telling anyone until he is born but it is nice to be able to call him by his name. I feel like I am beginning to nest some because I feel the need to get all these things ready and feel like I am running out of time. I have my next doc appointment on Thursday and I will get my first cervical check to see if I am progressing at all. We are so excited and can't wait for Little Man's arrival. Love and Miss you all!
